London City of Sanctuary aims to create a culture of hospitality and welcome for people seeking sanctuary in the UK’s capital city.
What began as a small handful of individuals inspired by the success of Sheffield City of Sanctuary has recently evolved into a dynamic, fast evolving group We’ve received signs of support and encouragement from a broad range of Londoners and London organisations, and we are full of ideas for the future months.
We have our eyes on the 2012 Olympics, and we’re confident that by the time of the games London can lay proud claim to the gold medal for the world’s first ‘Olympic City of Sanctuary’.
