with all respect

Hello ... Today I will make my point view on our self " the asylum seeker " . Is there any thing we should we do it ? the answer is YES. there are many things we can and we should do it together.
We most SHOW ALL OUR RESPECT to the people, law, land, reilgions, cultures and animels too ... If we like to do something we have been doing befor in our home we should take care of the others if it make any harmful to them and the thinking in other peoples give the responsibility to humanration however we dont want to requite the freedom in hardness.
I know and im sure all the asylum are tired, sad, maissing someone, afried and felling homeless but this dosent give us tha right to be harmful to the others .
By the smiles on the faces and showing some respect with kiend of help we will win all the hearts.

ASYLUM STIGMATIZATION UK

The very Economic reasons greed and selfish quest of the Westerners which led Britain to support, spearhead and even implement bi-lateral regulations on the illicit, inhuman, malicious, barbaric, trade in humans termed slavery which has degraded, and disenchanted the black race image and her entire mentality. This race no longer have what it takes to get organized why? because the westerners have made it so by labeling it dark continent, and reap continuously further into the African soil and all its potentials, imposing a view that Africa is a third World country underdeveloped. Yet the westerner preys on its soil to develop its own land.

There is a saying which goes “that if a fish does not swallow another fish it will not grow” yet today in the 21st century the Africans asylum seeker is treated like a dangerous snake which should be killed by anybody even when the dangerous snake is in labour. Yet in our schools today in Britain, geography has erased the topic / subject teaching to its pupils of where the natural resources are been acquired, rather they teach the pupil about Britain being among the world power, without informing them that Britain has no crude oil, which without aero planes, cars even most of our so called steel companies would not be operational today.

Britain claims members of the common wealth where it has no wealth rather an exploiter of wealth, what a shame to the very country that colonized1/3 or the World earth. By mere mention of the black community we all think of hostility, poverty, crimes, theft, murder, rape and even economic migrants, this view has been imposed on the black race in all its entirety. Britain statistics states that majority of mentally health patience are of black race. The population of UK is 6.2Million the black race is only below 12,000 the number of asylum refusal of the black Africans is on the increase. Lots of black people are on the street without an identity covered in inferiority complex which leads them to crime without undermining the consequence as they prefer to be in prison getting shelter etc rather than being on the streets, yet the Government believes that recent gun crimes in London where carried out by kids with single motherhood rather its treatment to the black asylum seekers.

This amongst other numerous reasons has inadvertently affected the most minority black race. (To be continued) your comment needed.

The power of your thought life

There are lots of principles that have been written to get people to be high achievers and excel in life. It is worth to remind you of this simple and yet profound underlying fundamental in either excelling or failing in life that most people have failed to appreciate. The principle is that 'you are excactly what you think'. your actions, and therefore, your station in life, is not independent of your thought life. Therefore, if you are not happy with your present achievements or the lack of them, then CHANGE YOUR THOUGHT life. Always remember that; Thoughts influence your Decisions and your decisions affect your Actions and your actions form either your Success or Failure in life. Where is your thought life taking you to? If you are not happy with your your candid outlook, then its time to switch.

Life in diaspora

Hi everyone my name is Bera. Allow me to take you on a journey to a very complex country on earth so far, Sudan, where I have been born and raised, to clear the cloudy picture in regarding the complexion one has to describe the country, Sudan location and ethnicity is 100% African!!! Beside it is the largest country in the continent Africa, which covers an area of 967.500 square miles approximately 8.3% of the entire area of Africa.

Here comes the awkward part of the story which has torn my lovely country into pieces. Do you know guys, Sudan was an Anglo-Egyptian colony between 1885-1956 and the first colonized African country to raise it's flag high after gaining independence from Anglo-Egyptian domination, since then my lovely country is in war within itself and that is because of the small minority who high jacked the country since we never felt independent until this moment (to be continued).

No body is anybody's minority and nobody is anybody's majority.

SAVE THE CELEBRATION CHOIR

Celebration choir is a group of christians from all different denominations which was formed 27 years ago when Billy Graham came to preach in Sheffield. It is a different form of reaching out to people praising our Lord with songs of praise. The Celebration Choir sings once every month in different churhes by invitation. Monies raised are used by the church were a concert will have taken place. This has touched people of different ages. It is a shame that the choir is coming to an end sometime in December 2007.

Sheffield

came to sheffield over 6 years ago and found it a lovely city as compared to birmingham where I lived briefly.
I like socialising when Iam not at work as opposed to the kind of life common in this part of the world where people are behind locked doors in their homes by 6pm in the evenning...do you this this increases chances of getting more stress and depression...??? or these are cultural differences where people are not bothered by being on their own with no other person to talk to apart from being on TELE..oh ho ho ho ho ...or is it prying into peoples' privacy...hope not....this is Franco's view of life...to be out going as long as iam living...........please reply if you care at all....

Churches Refugee Network Conference 19th May

This is a crucial time of opportunity for all those who are concerned for the rights of asylum-seekers and refugees in the UK. At the same time as a change in Prime Minister and senior government decision-makers there are some historic efforts being made by citizens' groups to re-think and reform the whole asylum and immigration system. At the Churches Refugee Network conference in London last weekend, there was a sense of urgency and purpose amongst those working with asylum-seekers and refugees around the country about the possibilities that are opening up to contribute to real change. We heard from Austin Ivereigh about the Strangers into Citizens campaign for a 'pathway into citizenship' for undocumented migrants (including refused asylum-seekers) who have lived in the UK for over four years. This is a proposal which would eliminate the backlog of hundreds of thousands of migrants who can never realistically be deported, and who are condemned to lives without basic legal rights in the shadow economy. There is more information on Strangers into Citizens, including migrants' own stories at www.strangersintocitizens.org.uk. Yvonne Mahlunge is a Zimbabwean human rights lawyer and founder member of the Movement for Democratic change. She gave a moving account of how, after having advised her clients on making asylum applications, she was finally forced to apply for asylum herself, and the humiliation and deliberate obstruction that she encountered from the asylum system. Another important initiative was presented by Jonathan Cox from the Independent Asylum Commission, which is conducting a thorough national review of the whole asylum system, with the involvement of senior members of the judiciary and other influential establishment figures. The IAC is collecting evidence of people's experience and views of the asylum system for its report, which will emphasise practical recommendations for reforming the existing system. Information on how to contribute evidence and views is available at www.independentasylumcommission.org.uk. Reports from the group Medical Justice, which focuses on the health needs of asylum-seekers in detention, emphasised the intolerable suffering imposed on vulnerable people by arbitrary and indefinite detention in Britain's Immigration Removal Centres. The need for fundamental change is urgent, and we now have opportunities to work towards an asylum system which treats people with fairness and dignity. The conference gave us a flavour of harmony and joy too, with uplifting performances from the Ugandan Acholi Choir and Pentecostal Gospel music from the local Redeemed Christian Church of God (pictured). It was a powerful reminder of the gift of the presence of asylum-seekers, refugees and migrants in our communities. View a video of the Redeemed Christian Church of God choir here.
